LeToya Luckett and ex-husband Tommicus Walker came together to support their daughter, Gianna, for a major milestone: her kindergarten graduation.
The proud parents reunited to mark the special occasion as Gianna officially moves on to first grade. Walker shared an emotional message on Instagram, reflecting on how quickly time has passed and just how proud he is of their six-year-old daughter.
“And just like that, on to the 1st grade,” he wrote alongside photos from the celebration. “Daddy is very proud of you Gianna. It feels like yesterday I was rocking you in my arms to fall asleep and now at the age of 6, you still fall asleep on my chest. You are the sweetest little girl God could’ve blessed me with. Your smile is perfect. Your dimples are cute. And your personality is such a joy to be around.”
He ended the note with a blessing for her future, writing, “May God continue to bless you through the years to become the beautiful light to this world. Always know, Daddy will be here through your journey of life. I love you Gianna Iman Walker. Congrats!!”
Fans were quick to show love in the comments, applauding the co-parents for coming together on Gianna’s big day. “Co-parenting! Love to see it!!!” one fan wrote. Another added, “Awesome Co-parenting for this special angel of yours.”
The graduation comes just days after Luckett celebrated Mother’s Day and shared her appreciation for the gift of motherhood in a touching Instagram post.
“To receive & experience a mother’s love is one of God’s greatest gifts, but to be able to give it is a true honor,” she wrote. “Gianna & Tysun, being your mommy means everything to me. I love y’all beyond words!”
Luckett and Walker, who finalized their divorce in 2021, have remained committed to co-parenting their two children, Gianna and Tysun. In 2024, Luckett remarried entrepreneur Taleo Coles.
