The moment, shared via her Instagram handle, highlighted her game-day update and a subtle nod to WNBA star A’Ja Wilson, whose Nike shoe collection featured prominently on Zhuri’s feet.
While much of the public focus has remained on LeBron’s ongoing NBA journey and his sons Bronny and Bryce’s development, Savannah has largely stayed out of the spotlight. However, her post this week served as a small but telling reminder of how invested she remains in her daughter’s growing interests, particularly in sports.
Savannah James Acknowledges A’Ja Wilson While Spotlighting Zhuri’s Volleyball Game
In a couple of photos posted to her Instagram stories, Savannah showcased her daughter competing in a volleyball match.
Alongside a clip of her daughter’s mid-game volleyball serve, she included a photo of Zhuri’s sneakers with a caption directed at A’Ja Wilson: “@aja22wilson.”
The shoes appeared to be part of Wilson’s Nike A’One collection, which debuted in May 2025 and has seen strong traction across different sports categories.
While much of the attention around the James family often centers on LeBron’s storied NBA career or the basketball rise of his two sons, Zhuri’s development in volleyball has quietly become a regular presence in the family’s public narrative. Both James and his wife have supported her interests at every step, regularly attending her matches and celebrating her growth through social media.
James has also taken an active role in his daughter’s volleyball experience. Despite his demanding NBA schedule, he’s frequently been spotted at her games, seated courtside with Savannah or cheering her on in the background. In past interviews, he’s spoken about how important it is to be present for all his children, regardless of their sport of choice.
LeBron has three kids. Apart from Zhuri, he has two sons who have already followed directly in their father’s footsteps. Bronny James played one season at USC before being selected by the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft (55th overall pick) after averaging 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game in his freshman year.
His younger brother, Bryce, has shown flashes of promise at Sierra Canyon and in AAU circuits, with scouts continuing to monitor his long-term development.
