Denver (KDVR) – The Araboho Basin Ski area closed this season on Sunday, which officially represents the end of the ski season in Colorado.
The ski season, which lasted for months in Colorado, started with the opening of the Wolf Creak ski area in late October. Then, during the next eight months, more than 28 million skiing hit the slopes of the Rocky Mountain area before the ski areas began to close in late March.
While some of the first mountains concluded operations in early spring, others continued in warm weather. BRCKENRIDGE SKI Resort and Loverland Ski have been opened until early May, but A Basin remained open later, and even extended its season to mid -June.

While most of the skiing areas concluded its operations almost a month ago from A-Basin, the ski area is famous for the survival open to the latest, with the opening of the corridors in the summer. In 2019, A-Basin was open on July 4, and in 1995, A Basin remained open until August.
Ski areas are carried out with their winter operations, but many mountains are already open again for their summer activities.
