Denver (KDVR)-About 80 volunteers from all over Denver attended the Collapx I in 2025, hosted by the Collefax Business area. The event focused on cosmetic efforts with the support of local companies.
“My heart is full. I am very pleased with the turnout,” said Denon Moore, COLFAX Ave Ave. “We could not order anything better.”
The additional support for the event came from the East Colfax Bus Rapid Transit team. This is why a lot of construction along Colfax. The three -year infrastructure improved project aims to build transportation that will transport people more efficiently from Denver Union Station to the 225th Highway in Aurora.
While the idea of the project itself will be an improvement for Collefax, CBID said that construction may also discourage people from exploring local companies along the busy road.
Moore said: “Building BRT is very annoying, but to remind people only, it is here, it is this street that we are talking about, it is the streets wanting to come and visit, let’s give it love as much as possible during this construction period.”
Despite the uncertain weather in the morning, the volunteers flocked to the street carrying garbage bags and garbage. The volunteer Christine Horner, logical assistance.
“We were looking for something to respond about the city in which we live,” Horner said. “We have been given like the lower Colfax section, which was similar to a few blocks, we could escalate, drop, and a kind of cleaning and pick up everything that exists there, whatever garbage, and gave us bags, and the Banker things like to pick up things.”
This was the first of four cleaning events in 2025. The following three will be held on June 28, September 20 and December 13.
“He is huge. I think he says to our society, we love Colfax, we are here for Colfax,” said Moore.

With the day of one cleaning under their belt, Moore said she hoped to encourage people to keep companies in Colfax in the upcoming holiday plans.
“Collapx is a lot of fun. Go down, visit our business; to the Easter, Mother’s Day comes, and it comes and supports those companies when you think you may need something unique and special for your gatherings.”
