ASAN (KXAN) – The Kyle Police Administration, or KPD, said it arrested a Manor man on Sunday after the officers withdrew a “incorrect car” car “in the early morning, according to a press press statement on Monday.
Kyle police officers said that they saw almost the truck caused a collision at about 1:30 am, Austin Police received a report that the truck was stolen at gunpoint.
“When the officers tried to stop the car, the driver refused to comply, resisted the arrest, and the officers were assaulted during the meeting. He was finally detained,” the statement said.
The names of the suspected journalist Paul Anthony Kannunuza, 31, from Manor. He did not have a listed lawyer on Monday morning, according to the records of the Hayes County Court.
Kelao Police said that Kandanuza had five active arrest orders at the time of his arrest. This included the case of the theft of Caldwell district, and the attack of Travis causes a physical injury and three others from Travis to attack a family/family.
According to the statement, officers are accused of 13 other crimes while arresting:
- Assault on the peace officer
- Holding a controlled substance
- Article/prohibited component in a reformist facility
- Tampering with physical evidence with the intention of weakness
- Holding a controlled substance
- Run from detention with a vehicle
- Unauthorized use of a car
- Violation of bonds/protection order
- Resistance to detention, research or transportation
- Interfering in public duties
- Driving while drunk
- Maraguana possession
- Not specifying the fugitive from justice
Kyle police said additional charges may come from APD, as they continue to investigate the armed robbery of the truck.
