Khloe Kardashian might’ve rung in her 41st birthday in Venice, Italy last month, but once she got home, the celebration took a playful turn with a party straight out of the 1980s!
On Sunday, July 20, Kardashian shared a peek into her adorable Care Bears-themed birthday pool party with her “favorite people”. The backyard bash was full of rainbow pastel balloons, giant Care Bear figurines, floaties, and all the warm fuzzies.
Wearing a pink and white Care Bears tee, matching bike shorts, and fuzzy pink sliders, the 41-year-old leaned all the way into the theme and her inner child.
“My favorite kind of party with all my favorite people. Thank you @carebears,” she captioned a carousel of photos on Instagram.
The guest list included her ride-or-die bestie Malika Haqq, sisters Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian Barker, and mama Kris Jenner, who couldn’t help but gush in the comments about her daughter’s party.
“Love a good Care Bear party!!! This really takes me back. I think I had one of these for you 35 years ago.”
The Good American co-founder’s kids, however, were the real stars of the birthday party. Seven-year-old True and 2-year-old Tatum were all smiles as they posed with the life-sized Care Bears, danced around the pool, and handed out tiny bear versions to the costumed characters.
True was also spotted snapping a poolside selfie with cousin Dream, Rob Kardashian’s 8-year-old daughter. The pink-and-pastel celebration wasn’t just about the vibes, it came with a Care Bear cake for the occasion. Covered in colorful buttercream roses and topped with a heart that read “Happy Birthday Mommy,” it was sweet and definitely sentimental.
