KELVIN BANKS JR.’S NEWBORN SON, KHALIL VOMITS ON LIVE TV DURING NFL DRAFT

The first night of the NFL Draft was full of excitement, tears, and cheers for many athletes and their families. For Kelvin Banks Jr., there was a little extra added to his moment as his infant son vomits on live TV after the announcement that he would be headed to the New Orleans Saints.

The Texas Longhorns offensive tackle was the No. 9 pick of the 2025 NFL Draft. When the New Orleans Saints made their pick, the 21-year-old and his family were jumping for joy and hugging one another.

However, his son, Khalil’s excitement manifested in another way, giving the athlete his first, of many, viral relatable public parenting moments.

A number of X users commented and reposted the moment, adding their own commentary to the moment.

One user wrote, “We just had a baby throw up during the NFL Draft.”

Another commented, “Kelvin Banks the 3rd thinks the #saints isn’t a good fit.”

One user actually missed the viral moment but chimed in asking, “Does the baby not want to live there?”

A fourth commenter, who doesn’t appear to be a Saints fan, wrote, “Instant reaction to finding out he is drafted to the Saints.”

Banks Jr. has already built quite a name for himself prior to being drafted to the NFL. Last season, the Texas Longhorn won the Lombardi Award for college football’s best lineman. Additionally, he earned a unanimous All-American nod and the 2024 Outland Trophy as the best interior lineman.

The Texas-native will finish off his college career having started in 42 games at UT across three seasons.

Banks Jr. and and his partner, Demetria Bolden, announced her pregnancy with their son in November 2024, per Sports Illustrated. Little Khalil was born earlier this month and half the world already knows his name!

Congratulations, Kelvin! We will be watching and cannot wait to see you on the gridiorn in your black and gold!
