Karen Huger Fresh Out Of Prison… Bravo Has Cameras Rolling To Capture Her RETURN To RHOP!
Karen Huger is fresh out of prison — and the Grande Dame wasted no time stepping back into the spotlight after serving just six months behind bars.
The Real Housewives of Potomac star, 62, walked out of Montgomery County Detention Center on Sept. 2. She was originally sentenced to two years, with one year suspended, following her DUI conviction.
Karen’s arrest had RHOP fans shook after shocking bodycam footage surfaced, showing her stumbling, slurring, and even bizarrely calling herself Thomas Jefferson’s “concubine.” Her wig was also hanging on for dear life, nearly sliding completely off her head. At the season 9 reunion, Karen admitted she blacked out before the crash, confessing to husband Ray: “I didn’t recognize that woman. I didn’t know her.”
But the cameras were ready the moment she left prison. Reporter Matthew Torres snapped crews setting up outside, and Karen was spotted waving and smiling from the back of an SUV. She wasn’t alone either — a close friend handled her glam, making sure her hair and makeup were flawless the second she walked free.
Bravo fans are already buzzing about her comeback. While most of season 10 has filmed without her, insiders told press that Bravo will “pick cameras back up” now that Karen’s back on the scene. Translation: her grand return could be the season’s biggest twist.
Karen, however, has been candid about the toll her DUI took, saying after her guilty verdict: “This is very frightening but I accept full responsibility… I don’t care about me right now. I care about my children, I care about my family. They are so hurt.”
Now, with glam squad in tow and Bravo cameras rolling again, it looks like the Grande Dame is ready to reclaim her throne.
