On Saturday, May 31, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen finally added a new ring to his finger. While Bills fans might wish it were a Super Bowl ring, they’re still happy for the franchise quarterback as he married actress Hailee Steinfeld. The couple wed in a private ceremony, with details released after Steinfeld discussed the wedding in an interview with People magazine.
Hailee Steinfeld Details Josh Allen’s Reaction to Her Look
Beginning their relationship in May 2023, the two made it official nearly two years to the date after they started dating. While their relationship was never publicly shared until July 2024, the star NFL QB and Bills leader knew Steinfeld was the one. The couple tied the knot in Santa Barbara, California, and Allen’s reaction was priceless.

“Okay, Josh says we have to talk about my dress now because I ‘stunned’ him when I got to the altar,” Steinfeld said. “It’s easily the most perfect gown I’ve ever put on my body. On our wedding day, when I put on this dress, I actually lost my breath. I’ve never felt more like myself and more beautiful.”
Steinfeld wasn’t the only one feeling emotional about the big day as Allen also shared his thoughts on their relationship.
“She makes everything easier,” Allen said. “I don’t really focus on the other stuff, that was the most important decision I’ll make in my life, and I made the right one.”
The 28-year-old Steinfeld has made her name through acting and singing. Meanwhile at 29, Allen has a slight age advantage on his wife. It’s clear that Allen was born to be an NFL player, while Steinfeld made it clear that she wanted to be an actor at a young age. When she was just ten years old, Steinfeld began appearing in short films.
The 2024 NFL MVP wants to lead the Bills to a Super Bowl, but he knows this ring is more than a consolation prize. His six-year, $330 million contract will keep him in Buffalo through 2030 as he settles into his new marriage. With another season right around the corner, the three-time Pro Bowler is looking for a different result this year.
The Bills begin their 2025 slate on Sunday Night Football on Sept. 7 as they host the Baltimore Ravens in a highly anticipated primetime match. After a quick trip to the New York Jets, the Bills will host the Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots. They have just one more road game in the Peach State against the Atlanta Falcons, before they have a Week 7 bye.
Having already spent his first seven seasons in Buffalo, Allen is looking to build off his 3,731 passing-yard season. While he won the MVP, it was the first time he threw for under 4,000 yards since 2019. With a gauntlet of a schedule ahead of him, Allen looks to do what many NFL QBs haven’t in their career: win back-to-back MVPs.
