Houston – The authorities said on Monday that Jonathan Jose, the audio actor who was famous for his work in the “King of the Hill” TV series, was fired closely near his home in Texas.
The police were sent to a house in southern San Antonio around 7 pm on Sunday, on a shooting call. When the officers arrived at the scene, they found the 59 -year -old wounded near the street.
“The officers have tried to save life until EMS arrived. EMS announced the deceased victim,” Saint Antonio Police said in a statement.
Jose’s husband, Tristan Kern de Gonzalez, confirmed the death of the actor to the Associated Press in a text. The two married earlier this year on Valentine’s Day.

“Despite the allegations online that this is a hate crime, the investigation currently found no evidence indicating that the murder of Mr. Jose was linked to his sexual orientation,” said San Antonio police.
“SaPD investigators deal with these allegations seriously and have reviewed all the information available accurately. If any new evidence appears, the suspect will be charged accordingly,” the police said.
In a statement, De Gonzalez said he and Jose had harassed, and many of it “homosexuality”. Jose’s husband said that the person who killed the actor shouted “violent gay phone” before the fire was opened.
“He was killed by a person who cannot afford the scene of two men who love each other,” said De Gonzalez.
Before the shooting, De Gonzales and Joss were checking the mail at Joss’s house, which was severely damaged during a fire in January that killed their three dogs. De Gonzalez said a man approached the two and threatened them with a pistol.
“Jonathan had no weapons. We were not threatening anyone,” De Gonzalez said in a statement.
After the shooting, the authorities arrested Sigfredo Alvarez Sega, 56 years old, accused him of death on the death of Jose.
The court’s records have not recounted a lawyer who could speak on behalf of CEJA, who was being held at the BEXAR District County detention center.
In a statement, San Antonio police said that its investigation “has never found any evidence at all indicating that the killing of Mr. Jose was linked to his sexual orientation.”
The police said: “We take such allegations seriously and we have reviewed all the information available accurately. If any new evidence appears, we will impose the suspect accordingly,” the police said.
Jose, who grew up in San Antonio, is known as the Voice of John Redcorn, an original American figure in the famous “King of the Hill” series that was played for 13 seasons from 1997 to 2008. It is scheduled to start restarting in August.
Jose also had a repeated role in the Parks and Recreation, playing President Ken Hot. He appeared in two episodes of the “Tulsa King” series in 2022.
The GOFUNDME page was created in January to Jose after the house fire. According to the page, he lost all his property in the fire, including his car.
Before he was fired as a killer, Jose was in Austin, located about 80 miles (130 km) northeast of San Antonio, for events related to the peak of infiltration to revive the “King of the Hill”.
On Saturday, Jose posted a video on Instagram in which he said he signed signatures in a comic book store in Austin.
“The fans get a reconsideration of” King of the Hill “again, which I think is a great thing because it is a great show,” Jos said in the video, adding that he had already made an audio on four episodes of revival.
Jose’s husband said that Jose was grateful to his fans.
“For everyone who supported him, his fans and friends know that he was deeply aware. He saw you as a family,” said De Gonzalez.
