Pegula captured her third title of the year at the Bad Homburg Open, outplaying former World No. 1 Iga Świątek in straight sets in the final. The American entered the Bad Homburg Open aiming to bounce back after an early exit in the Berlin Tennis Open, where she was the defending champion.
As the top seed, she cruised past Kateřina Siniaková, Emma Navarro, and Linda Nosková before defeating Świątek.

He followed that with a semifinal win over sixth seed Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and defeated Jenson Brooksby 7-5, 6-1 in the final.

The tennis world was quick to take notice. Tennis icon Billie Jean King gave a shout-out to Pegula’s Bad Homburg win, sharing an Instagram story that read, “Cheers to Jessica Pegula, the champion of the Bad Homburg Open!” Collins followed with a celebratory “Just queen things” post, while Keys added applause and trophy emojis to the wave of social media cheer.

Both Pegula and Fritz look to ride their momentum into the All England Club. Pegula, seeded third in the women’s draw, will face Italy’s Elisabetta Cocciaretto in her opening match, while Fritz, seeded fifth on the men’s side, is slated to take on Frenchman Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in the first round. Their Wimbledon campaigns begin June 30.
