Jeffco Sheriff's Office 'fact checks' ICE Denver: 'We will not violate Colorado law'

Denver (KDVR) – On Wednesday, Denver for Migration and Customs in the United States was published to X, and asked to help search for a man who was arrested for the only identity document and was released by Jefferson Province, a statement calling for the Jefferson Province authorities to misleading.

On Thursday, the Sharif Federal Agency’s office told X that under Colorado Law, deputies are not allowed to hand the inmates directly to any law enforcement agency without a judicial order.

“Let’s be clear: We are not legally allowed to deliver a prisoner directly to any law enforcement agency without a judicially delegated memorandum under the Colorado Law. This includes ice,” the Sharif office said.

In this position that was held on Wednesday, Ice said that he needs to help society in determining the position of a man, “who was released from Jefferson Province without being delivered to the ice.” The Federal Agency provided a party line for information about the man to be presented to ICE.

Jeffco Sheriff said to X that ICE must ask him to notify a prisoner in the province’s nursery, which is scheduled to be released, and said that when such requests are submitted, Sharif’s office corresponds to.

“We do not coordinate specific launch times,” Sharif’s office said.

Sharif’s office said it “respects and follows the Colorado Law”, and will continue to do so. The agency also said it “will stand by the truth,” and said the Ice’s function about the man’s launch is “misleading.”

“When we contacted the Ice Denver’s office about their misleading publication, they made their position unambiguous: if we did not offer an additional time for the ice to coordinate the Bick Ab inmate from our facility, in a violation of the Colorado law, the deceptive functions like yesterday will become the rule,” said Jefferson Sherf County Office on X.

The agency presented a detailed schedule for the man’s arrest and ICE interaction with Sharif’s office on Wednesday.

Sharif’s office said that at approximately 11:52 am, Sharif’s office received an order to release the man. At the back, Sharif’s office spoke to the ICE actor via the phone and told them about the version. Jevco said the actor told the boycott agency ICE would not pick up the prisoner who was released.

At 2:34 pm, the man was released from Jefferson County Prison. Sharif’s office said that Ice did not come to prison to pick up the man.
