Jacob Elordi just dropped some seriously exciting news about Euphoria Season 3, and honestly, it sounds like the wait is going to be worth it.
The actor, who plays the complicated Nate Jacobs on the hit HBO series, recently opened up about his experience filming the highly anticipated third season at the Academy Museum Gala red carpet. What he shared has fans buzzing with anticipation.
“It was incredible, man,” Elordi told Variety. “It was incredibly liberating. I got to play something so sort of far out from what I’ve done before.” That alone is enough to get people excited, especially considering how intense and layered his character has been throughout the show’s run.

But wait, there’s more. The actor praised series creator Sam Levinson, saying he “constructed something that’s incredibly clever and cinematic.” He even added a prediction that’s music to fans’ ears: “I think people are really going to like it.”
Now here’s where things get really interesting. Jacob Elordi revealed something pretty unique about how Season 3 was filmed. According to him, “Everybody shoots at different storylines. I don’t know what anyone else is doing. I had a really singular storyline. You don’t know what the other story lines are. It’s like FBI files.”

This means that even Elordi himself doesn’t know what happens in the full season. He’s actually excited about this, saying, “So it’s great because I’ll get to consume the show the same way that everybody else does as a fan, which I haven’t been able to do before. I’m really excited.”
Meanwhile, Euphoria fans have been waiting since 2022 for new episodes, and the patience is finally paying off. The third season is expected to premiere in spring 2026 and will consist of eight episodes. The show follows high school students navigating the complicated worlds of addiction, relationships, and identity, with Zendaya leading the cast as Rue Bennett.

Returning cast members include Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Dominic Fike, Colman Domingo and Kika King, along with several exciting new additions.
Given how much Elordi is hyping up his own performance and the season overall, it looks like Euphoria Season 3 is shaping up to be something special. The actor’s genuine excitement about watching the completed season as a fan speaks volumes about the quality of what’s coming.
