New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye has tried his best to lead the offense downfield against the New York Jets. As the Patriots hold a 14-7 lead at halftime, Maye’s numbers are decent but not great.
With that in mind, is there something wrong with Maye?
Is Patriots QB Drake Maye Injured?
At the end of the first half, Maye was 14-of-16 passing for 140 yards, no touchdowns, and no interceptions.
While Amazon Prime broadcasters Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit noted Maye’s pocket presence at times, Maye himself did his best to make their words ring true.

At the half, it does not look like Maye is injured at all. The Patriots’ offense has shown signs of life, thanks to running back TreVeyon Henderson’s two touchdown runs against the Jets’ secondary.
As the game goes into the second half, look for Maye to continue to stay cool in the pocket and lead New England down the field. Of course, the second-year quarterback will also try to avoid getting injured and putting Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel in a bind.
