Iran says it attacked US forces at air base in Qatar

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (AP) – Iran launched a missile attack on Monday on an American military base in Qatar, and retracted the American bombing of its nuclear sites.

Witnesses reported seeing missiles in the sky, followed by explosions, but it was not clear whether there was any harm.

Iran has announced on government television that it attacked the American forces stationed at the air base in Qatar. It was called a comment on the screen “strong and successful response” to “America’s aggression” while playing combat music.

The attack came shortly after Qatar closed its airspace as a preventive measure amid threats from Iran.

Immediately before the explosions, Iranian President Masoud Bezishian wrote on the social platform X: “We did not start the war and do not search for it. But we will not leave an invasion of the great Iran without an answer.”

In the past, Iran threatened the American forces at the Al -Wadid Air Force Base, which hosts the headquarters of the Central Command of the American Army. Qatar, through the Persian Gulf from Iran, is maintaining diplomatic ties with Iran and participating in a huge natural gas field abroad with Tehran.

Earlier in the day, Israel expanded its war against Iran to include the targets associated with the stalled bonds in the country, and the reputable Tehran prison gate hit the detention of political activists and the headquarters of the military force that suppressed the recent protests.

When the thick smoke columns rose on Tehran, Israel was attacked with another barrage of missiles and drones. The constant fire has become a reality for civilians in both countries since Israel began the war to target the nuclear program that is rapidly progressing in Tehran.

On the eleventh day of the conflict, Israel said it attacked “the goals of the regime and the bodies of government repression in the heart of Tehran”, but Israeli officials insisted that they did not seek to overthrow the government of Iran and their hurt since the Islamic revolution in the country in 1979.

The Israeli army warned that it would continue to attack the military sites around Tehran during the “coming days”, as its focus has turned into symbolic targets as well. The army issued a warning on the social platform X, although the Iranians are struggling to reach the outside world as the closure of the Internet has paralyzed the country.

The recent strikes just revealed hours after President Donald Trump publicly raised the possibility of himself just one day after America was in the war with its unprecedented strike to steal the victory over three Iranian nuclear sites.

“If the current Iranian regime is unable to make Iran great again, then why will there be a change in the regime ???” In fact, he asked on his social site.

White House press secretary Caroline Levitt Trump described “simply asking a question.” However, the proposals to overthrow the Iranian government have sparked a new anger at Tehran, which insists that it will not negotiate at this time and aims to take revenge directly from American forces or interests in the Middle East already flaming through the Israel-Easas war, which is still in the Gaza Strip.

Tehran strikes opened a new chapter of the war

In Tehran’s strikes, Israel blew up a gate in Evin Prison. Iranian government television participated in black and white monitoring footage of the strike in the facility known for the double citizens of the Western and often by Iran as bargaining chips in negotiations with the West.

Evin also has specialized units for political prisoners run by the semi -military revolutionary guards, who only answers the supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khawni. The attachment is the goal of the US and European Union sanctions.

There were no immediate reports of losses in Iran or severe damage, although the semi -official Tasnim News Agency said that there was a power reduction that was reported outside Tehran in the wake of Israeli strikes.

The Iranian state television also broadcast footage described as being shot inside Evin, while controlling the prisoners inside the facility. However, the Washington -based Abdul Rahman Bourmand Center expresses its concern about the status of the prisoners there.

She said: “Many families of the current detainees have expressed great concern about the safety and loved ones of their loved ones in prison.”

Earlier in the past, Iranian general Abdul Alam Musafi, Chief of the Joint Chiefs of the Armed Forces, warned Washington that its strikes had given Iranian forces “his free hand” to act against American interests and their army.

There are tens of thousands of American forces in the Middle East, many of them are located within the range of short -range Iranian missiles.

The Israeli army also confirmed that it struck the ways of Iran’s enrichment facility to Iran to obstruct access to the site. The site under the ground was one of the people who were struck in Sunday’s attack by the United States on three nuclear facilities. The Israeli army did not explain.

The Israeli Ministry of Defense said: “The Iranian dictator will be punished with full force to attack the Israeli home front.”

According to an Israeli official familiar with the government’s strategy, Israel targets these sites for the pressure of the Iranian administration, but it does not actively seek to overthrow it. The official spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the internal government deliberations.

Nuclear concerns are heading after strikes

In Vienna, the head of the United Nations Nuclear Energy Agency said he expected to be severe damage to the Fordo facility after the US air strike on Sunday there with advanced bombs.

Many Iranian officials, including the Atomic Energy Organization in Iran, Besoz Kamlafandi, claimed that Iran removed nuclear materials from the targeted sites early.

Raphael Grossi, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, told the agency’s governorate council on Monday that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi told him on June 13 that Iran would “adopt special measures to protect nuclear equipment and materials.”

“I have made it clear that any transfer of nuclear materials must be announced from a protection facility to another location in Iran,” said Grossi.

Iran is pressing to attack Israel

Iran described its attack on Monday on Israel as a new wave of “real operations 3”, saying it was targeting Israeli cities in Haifa and Tel Aviv, according to Iranian state television.

The explosions were also heard in Jerusalem, perhaps from the air defense systems at work, and said Magn David Adum rescuing the Israeli emergency rescue service that there were no reports of injuries.

In Israel, at least 24 people were killed and more than 1,000 wounded in the war. Israeli strikes against Iran have killed at least 950 people and became 3450 others, according to the Washington -based Human Rights Group.

The group, which presented detailed victims of Iranian turmoil, such as the protests surrounding the death of Masha Amini in 2022, said about the dead, and it has identified 380 civilians and 253 members of the security force.

It calls for the cancellation of the escalation

The United States described its attack onFordo and Natanz enrichment facilities, as wellAs one time to direct the Iranian nuclear program, but Trump warned of additional strikes if Tehran was picked.

The state -managed IRNA news agency described Mossafi describing the American attacks as violating Iran and being an invasion of the country.

“How can we get out of the situation today,” said President Vladimir Putin in Moscow with Russia, one of Iran’s closest allies, and on Monday, President Vladimir Putin said after his meeting in Moscow with Aragshi, the Iranian Foreign Minister, “How can we get out of the situation today,” said President Vladimir Putin, with Russia, and on Monday.

Putin called on Israeli and American attacks on Iran as “absolutely unjustified aggression.”

Iran, which insists that its nuclear program is for civil purposes only,Previously agreed to reduce uranium enrichmentAnd allow international inspectors to reach its nuclear sites under the 2015 deal with the United States, France, China, Russia, Britain and Germany in exchange for sanctions.

But after Trump withdrew the United StatesUnilaterallyDuring its first term, Iran began to enrich uranium by up to 60 %-a short technical step away from the 90 % weapons degree levels-and restricted access to its nuclear facilities.
