Identity theft probationer caught with fraudulent IDs: Alameda PD

(KON) – Police announced on Wednesday that a resident of Olaida was monitored to steal a felony identity that was arrested in multiple forms of fraudulent identity during the last compliance examination.

The Alamida Police Department officers discovered this discovery after visiting the individual residence, which was not called the law application. According to the administration, officers who examine compliance with monitoring found multiple fraudulent forms of identity, identity manufacturing equipment, fresh checks, credit cards and empty checks.

Police said that drugs were detected in the residence, and the police helped locate a firearm and ammunition.

The monitoring was arrested due to multiple crimes related to discovery.

The authorities remind the public to take steps to help protect against identity theft, including:

  • Destruction of bank data and other sensitive documents before disposal
  • Monitor financial accounts and credit reports regularly
  • Freezing credit to prevent new accounts from opening
  • Create strong passwords and use multiple factors for online accounts

“It can limit the early procedure and help protect your financial future,” said Alamida PD.
