Two men say they were seriously injured by LAPD as a protest in the center of Los Angeles during the weekend and are now facing long and painful recovery.
Marshall Woodrov, the film director in Los Angeles, said that he had a deadly tour of Saturday night during a protest. “I have a lot of pain and anesthesia on the right side of my face,” said Woodrov from his hospital bed. “When the bullet hit my face, all I heard was the noise of a high tone resonance.” Woodrov said he was part of a “protest of not kings” when LAPD officers began shooting at the crowd after announcing the illegal gathering.
The administration stated that the officers were attacked by the demonstrators who throw bottles and concrete, which led them to order the crowd to differentiate. However, Woodruff said he had never heard any clear instructions to leave. He said: “No one is on the loudspeakers, no one screams clear orders.” “It was just a chaos.”
According to Woodruf, he was not acting strongly when he saw an officer who was aimed at him. After being beaten, he underwent a five -hour surgery and said that the doctors told him that he might lose visibility in his right eye.
Another protest present, Christopher Fernandez, the registered nurse, told KTLA from Sandra Mitchell that he had also had a shell while providing medical assistance to the crowd. “I looked down and saw that it was more bloody and the pain began to enter, and I said,” I think it might be worse than I thought. “

Fernandez was seriously injured in the leg and was treated in the emergency room before his release.
