((CrohnSAPD Police Administration said that the American ICE enforcement and customs agents were seen conducting an operation early on Tuesday afternoon in San Jose.
The agents were reported in the Senil Street area and the Blusum Hill Street, according to SJPD. I told ICE SJPD agents that there were demonstrators in that area who were “screaming and seeking help.”
Send the SJPD lieutenant to the scene to ensure that no other crimes are committed. The police said that no crimes were committed. Lieutenant has left the scene since then.
The reason for the presence of ICE agents has not been clarified by SJPD. Kron4 arrived at ICE for comment but he did not hear in time to publish.
Since President Donald Trump took office in January, the enforcement of immigration and illegal deportation has become a concern in many societies in the Gulf region. There were other cases that Ice agents were known to have operations in San Jose.
In late January, ICE agents were monitored in the car park on Story Road. The mayor Matt Mahan said that ICE agents were carrying out an operation in San Jose, but they stressed that the city police administration does not help ice “in any way.”
During the same week, ICE agents were seen in the center of San Francisco.
