Austin – TJ Williams said he and his family owned Habana Restaurant in the Southern Congress for 25 years.
So when the police called him in the middle of the night last week about a robbery – she was severely hit.

Williams said that the investigators told him that these people may have been the same suspects who recently hit the Ayes Amy and the eastern side pies in the northwest of Austin. KXAN is still waiting for an APD official confirmation about any link between these cases.
Williams said he was continuing to enhance security measures at Habana Restaurant after repeating robberies.

According to APD crime data, approximately 60 robbery operations occurred 1000 feet from Habana Restaurant since 2020. There have also been more than 120 reports on theft during that time period, and about 20 strict attacks.
