How to watch Steve Carell in HBO’s ‘Rooster’ TV show

Steve Carell returns to college.

“The Office” star stars in HBO’s newest Sunday night series, “Rooster,” which premieres tonight, March 8. This half-hour comedy comes to the streamer from Bill Lawrence, creator of the hit comedies Scrubs, Shrinking and Ted Lasso.

Carell plays Greg Russo, a best-selling author who navigates a complicated relationship with his daughter (Charlie Clive) on the college campus where she works as a professor while dealing with her own relationship issues.

The series also stars Daniel Deadwyler, “Scrubs” alumnus John C. McGinley, and Phil Dunster, who has also appeared elsewhere in the Lawrence-verse as a major character in “Ted Lasso.”

The first episode of “Rooster” will be released at 10 PM ET on HBO Max – the same time it premieres on cable channel HBO.
