Houston police release surveillance photos of suspect in deadly north Houston shooting, investigation ongoing

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – Police have released new surveillance photos of the suspect wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in north Houston on Sunday morning.

According to the Houston Police Department, patrol officers responded to a shooting at 10500 Bowman Road at 11:15 a.m. Sunday. Officers said they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds in the street.

Houston Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene, officials said.

The identity of the 24-year-old victim is pending notification of family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, according to officials.

Investigators said they determined the victim was walking northbound on Bowman Road when a man in a gray 2012 to 2016 Honda Accord pulled out and fired multiple shots, striking the victim. The suspect then fled the scene, according to authorities.

HPD has released surveillance images of the suspect and vehicle as the investigation continues.
