Helicopter crashes in New York City's Hudson River; sources say 6 dead

New York (Wpix– It is said that many people have died after a helicopter crashed in the Hudson River off Manhattan on Thursday.

The sources told WPIX NexStar’s and the Associated Press that six people died in the accident. Two people who were briefed on rescue efforts said New York Times Three children and two adults were pulled from the water, but their circumstances were not known.

The authorities have not yet provided any information related to the number of people who may be on board or their conditions.

Fire officials confirmed that the incident on the New Jersey side of the Hudson River was reported for the first time after 3 pm Easter on Thursday.

Social media videos showed that Bell 206 has mostly immersed, upside down in the water. The police were seen nearly with the police helicopters.

The firefighting administration said it has units at the scene of the rescue. Several emergency sets were seen responding to the area in another video clip, you can watch it below:

The rescue craft was near a site near the waterfront in Manhattan, near the end of a long maintenance pavement for one of the ventilation towers of the Netherlands tunnel.

FAA and the National Transport Safety Council will be achieved in the accident.
