'He was an amazing man': Candlelight vigil held for man found dead in Broomfield

Litleton, Colorado (KDVR) – an emotional night in a garden in Litton, where Paul Aragon’s loved ones gathered, exchanged memories, pictures and other stories. Everyone is still looking for answers to the man they loved.

“He was a friend, and he was a friend who taught you how to be a friend. This was a truly special thing about him, which is something I appreciate more than anything else, that Paul was my friend,” said Aragon’s friend, Mercedes Hess.

For several months, he left the friends and the Aragon family without anything, there are no signs, no contact, and there are no answers to the question that everyone was asking: Where is the man who knew and loved him?

“I don’t know that I have never been exposed to the worst of that because whenever it continues, I just feel, oh, perhaps there is some hope there. If it is not found yet, then there may be just lost.”

After that, after the search efforts, an invitation, called the vegetation crew in the city of Buldeer and City of Mountain Parks 911 after finding human residue near Flations Vista TrailHead late last month.

“It was a closure, but at the same time, it was terrible because we did not want this result. But at the same time, we felt comfortable because we can now rest correctly,” said Aragon’s sister Lidishi Allarid.

A crowd gathered a crowd in a garden in Litleton, carrying candles, wearing shirts with Aragon’s face, to remember the man who meant many for many.

“He was an amazing man, an amazing father. He loved his daughter so much. He loved his family so much. He was just an amazing man in general,” Alarid said.

The man whom the family describes as a man, a man full of joy and love for others, especially for those closest to him. The effect he felt in the protest is candlelight.

“People die twice in their lives, once when they die and once when the last person he knows about talking about them loudly, so they continued to talk about that,” Hess said.
