Hayes County, Texas (KXAN) – The Hayes County Commissioners Court will consider Tuesday’s decision calling for due legal procedures and humanitarian treatment of migrants.
Hayes Robin Bekira Province judge said he is moving forward due to the recent federal immigration activity that caused disturbance throughout the province.
“The decision I make on Tuesday revolves around being American, we are respected, and respect for the rule of law,” Bekira said. “What I want to do is help in supporting peace, unity and harmony throughout our boycott.”
Bekira said that there is an increase in federal immigration employees who are holding people in Hayes County since the Trump administration took office. According to the KXan private project, more than 12,000 undocumented immigrants live in Texas from January to March, equivalent to any other state.
“I am not looking for anything but treatment of people like humans, I am respected, follow the rule of law, and let us move in an organized manner without causing ruin and destruction,” said Bekira.
Texas Immigration lawyer Adrian Readz said that the detention of migrants has increased steadily in the past few months.
“There are only certain quantities of ICE agents available, and only a certain number of resources allocated by the government. Now what we see is a greater allocation of resources, we see intensification in all fields,” Reedendez said.
Fox News mentioned in May The Trump administration raised the goal of its arrest on ice to 3000 illegal immigrants per day.
Reedendez said he had clients who were following the appropriate procedures, but were arrested and detained.
He said: “The controversy is now that they are holding people who technically follow all the rules he asked for.” “We see some of the detained people who were here [several years] They are permanent residents. “
Reedendez said the legal procedures in the context of immigration could include someone who arrives in the United States to flee danger in his homeland. If this claim is considered reliable, they will be given a date for the court to prepare their case.
“The history of this court, this is the legal procedures they are obtaining,” said Redindes. “In my opinion, I see a lack of due legal procedures.”
