‘Hard Launch’ — Laney Choboy, Andi Jackson, and Other Nebraska Volleyball Players React As Keri Leimbach Makes Surprise Post

Nebraska Volleyball players recently reacted to Keri Leimbach’s ‘hard launch’ on Instagram. The freshman will make her official debut this season, after being forced to sit out 2025 due to health issues.

Leimbach has been playing volleyball for Nebraska since schooltime. She represented Nebraska One in the women’s club volleyball category.

Leimbach recently shared a flurry of photos from January on her Instagram profile. She also ‘revealed’ her boyfriend, though she didn’t exactly reveal his name or face. The freshman player wrote in the caption of her Instagram post,

“January was full of [Miscellaneous Emojis].”

Several Nebraska Volleyball players cheered for Leimbach. Leading the front was Allie Sczech, who commented immediately,

“CUTEEEE.”

It was Laney Choboy who officially confirmed the ‘relationship’ with her following comment,

“Holy hard launch.”

Co-Skipper of Nebraska Volleyball, Andi Jackson, also joined the party as she wrote,

“So happiness 🥰❤️😇.”

Even Kenna Cogill added her opinion with the following comment,

“Awwww, so cutie.”

Leimbach had joined the Nebraska Cornhuskers by the end of the 2024 season. She was expected to make her grand debut last year. However, she was ‘redshirted’ alongside Cogill, i.e., she did not play a single game for the Huskers throughout the season.

However, the libero is expected to make giant strides, with players like Rebekah Allick, Maisie Boesiger, etc., having completed their collegiate careers last season.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers had won their third consecutive Big Ten Conference title since 2023. This was also the first term of ex Nebraska player Dani Busboom Kelly as the team’s head coach.

Like the former mentor John Cook, coach Busboom Kelly aimed to make a strong mark with a clean slate throughout the 2025 season. The Huskers were well on track to repeat their performance from the 2000 season until they met Jamie Morrison’s Texas A&M Aggies in the quarterfinals of the 2025 NCAA Championships [also known as the Regional Finals].

Despite their best efforts, the Huskers were eliminated 2-3, and coach Morrison’s girls went on to create history by winning the first-ever NCAA title for the Texas A&M Aggies. Leimbach would be aiming to end the nine-year-old drought for the Big Red team this season.
