Residents in the Hancock Park neighborhood said they were being attacked by robbery crews who have stormed the homes without any signs of stopping.
The surveillance cameras captured the criminal crews at work because they hit the same neighborhood over and over again near 3rd and La Brea Street.
“This has happened during the past two months,” said one of the neighbors who did not want to determine safety concerns. “We have been hit, perhaps 10, 11 times.”
Residents often said that the infiltrators are broken when no one is at home. They quickly looted the properties and escaped with many precious things within minutes.
However, Eric Jacobi said he was present when the thieves targeted his home on May 1 around 10:15 pm
He said, “I was preparing to sleep when I heard a hustle followed by another hat and then destroyed.” “I open the door of a sleeping room and a man was going out on the stairs and realized very quickly that he would reach my children’s room before he reached me. So I screamed.” I shouted, “Go out! Get out! The police are on their way! “
Jacobi said his verbal warning was sufficient to intimidate thieves away. He said that the frightening meeting only confirms the need for further protection of society.
“There must be more police,” he said. “There must be more police on the street.”
Many neighbors have ever made each other to protect each other and monitor any suspects wandering, but they believe that more by local leaders and law enforcement.
“Through all the communication that we do as a neighbors, there is no clear strategy to maintain a safe time,” said Kate Chris, a resident.
Al -Jarud, which is often located in a Jewish community, has expanded their patrols through a special voluntary security force called Magen AM Shield of the Nation.
“We have obtained a license through intense training and we carry firearms,” explained Salvador Litfak, a neighbor and a member of the security force. “We thought it was the protection of our worship homes, but now that the crime became very rampant in the neighborhood, we extended the awakening to that.”
Several residents Ktla told that they have since removed all precious things from their homes and increased security measures.
The authorities said that if anything appears suspicious or outside the place, the residents must inform the situation to enforce local law.
