HALLE BAILEY GRANTED TEMPORARY LEGAL AND PHYSICAL CUSTODY OF SON WITH DDG

Halle Bailey has been granted temporary legal and physical custody of her son, Halo Saint.

Court documents reveal that the Little Mermaid actress, 25, was awarded temporary sole custody of her 16-month-old son, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend DDG, born Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.

Bailey filed for custody after alleging that the 27-year-old rapper subjected her to physical and emotional abuse. A temporary restraining order has also been issued, requiring DDG to stay at least 100 yards away from both Bailey and their son. The order remains in effect until their scheduled court date on June 4, 2025.

In addition to custody, Bailey has asked the court to deny unsupervised visits. However, she is open to DDG having weekly, professionally supervised visits with Halo for six hours while the child is in Los Angeles.

She is also requesting that DDG be restricted from taking Halo outside Los Angeles County. In her filings, Bailey claimed DDG has previously hidden their son and made threats to take him away.

For these reasons, she is seeking an order to prevent child abduction. She asked the court to block DDG from applying for a passport or any travel documents for Halo without her approval. If travel is allowed, Bailey wants a full itinerary, copies of round-trip tickets, contact details, and an open return ticket in case Halo is not returned on time.

In her court declaration, Bailey said she initially tried to resolve the situation privately but now feels legal action is necessary.

“I realize that there is no placating Darryl. I cannot allow this abuse any longer. I cannot keep living like this,” she says. “I never know when he is going to demand our son to be in his mother’s care and whether I will be subjected to his threats and abuse.”

Bailey and DDG began dating in 2022. They welcomed Halo in December 2023 and ended their relationship in 2024.
