What happens when two Houston legends get together and collab? Magic. And that is just what recently took place when Gracie Hollingsworth of Gracie’s Corner and rapper Paul Wall collaborated to drop an epic remix of the children’s classic, “The Wheels on the Bus.”
According to the Houston Chronicle, the kids’ sing-along track is backed by 808 drums, giving the school bus classic some trap flare that will surely have toddlers bobbing their heads. Wall, accompanied by his godson Blaze, did not hold back in his verse and included all the things you would expect the Houston great to rap about.
“Rolling rolling 84s, candy paint dripping off the doors,” Wall raps in the remix. In the official music video, you will see his animated avatar driving a candy red Cadillac with elbows, next to a school bus. “Please observe how I work the wheel, I tell the truth and I keep it real,” the famed rapper continued. He ended his verse. “Down here we call it trill, now let me show you my grill.”
And of course, Gracie’s Corner has done it again! This new remix has blown up, becoming a certified banger, not just for toddlers, but for the entire family.
