Gilroy man arrested in South Bay shooting

(Krona) – A man was arrested for an attempt to kill on Thursday for the alleged shooting that occurred in Morgan Hill on September 13.

The officers of the Morgan Hill Police Department were called to 100 blocks from Seoulo Street around 12:13 am to vaccinate several gunshots fired in the area. At the scene, officers found a teenager suffering from multiple wounds.

“Upon his arrival, the officers have identified many of the pulse covers in the street and sidewalks,” said Morgan Hill PD. “While the officers were at the scene, they learned that a 17 -year -old victim was suffering from life -threatening gunshots had been transferred from the scene of the accident to St. Luiz Hospital.”

The victim was treated and released from the hospital. During the investigation, investigators identified the two suspected shooters, Giovanni Ahmada, from Gilrewy.

“Investigators decided that the shooting occurred when the suspect, who was standing on the sidewalk, fired a car carrying four passengers while traveling along Seoulo Street,” said Morgan Hill PD. “… AHUMADA monitoring footage runs south through a nearby residential complex immediately after the shooting.”

On Thursday, the Morgan Hill PD team and the Gilroy/Morgan Hill Swat team presented inspection orders in Gilroy and Morgan Hill. AHUMADA was arrested and seized in Santa Clara County Prison on charges of attempting to kill and crime in possession of a pistol.
