New York Mets star shortstop Francisco Lindor and his loving wife, Katia Lindor, embraced parenthood for the third time with the birth of their son, Koa Amani, on March 30, 2025. Besides Koa, the couple have two daughters, Kalina Zoe, who was born on Nov 4, 2020, and Amapola Chloe, who was born on Jun 17, 2023.
The Lindors have been residing in Queens, New York, where Lindor has been playing professional baseball with the Mets since 2021. Before moving to Queens, Lindor played with the Cleveland Guardians from 2016 to 2020. The shortstop has been one of the most consistent ballplayers in his position in the past few seasons.
Katia Lindor Accepts MLB Broadcaster’s Bold Claim
On Monday, Katia and her kids spent time with sports broadcaster Michelle Margaux and her son, Vail James. Margaux uploaded an adorable image of Lindor’s wife on her Instagram story, where she could be seen handling three babies at once. She captioned the image: “@katia.lindor = baby whisperer.”
Katia reshared the image on her Instagram story and gleefully accepted the broadcaster’s take on her special abilities, captioning the story as, “Give me all the babies.”
Besides being a loving mother to three kids and a supportive wife to Lindor, Katia founded the ‘Un-a-Parent’ podcast in Aug 2022, which talks about the unsaid and undiscussed realities about parenthood. With the podcast, she aims to generate awareness on parenting and how to raise one’s kids in this ever-changing world.
While she missed more than a month of the new baseball season due to the birth and prenatal and postnatal care, she, alongside her three kids, made their way down to Citi Field in person a few weeks after welcoming Koa.

Katia avidly watches and cheers for Lindor during his game days with the Mets at home in Queens. The family made the trip down to Yankee Stadium to witness the Subway Series finale on Sunday.
Francisco Lindor has Been Consistent with his Performances in Both Departments of the Game in 2025
Lindor is a two-time Gold Glove winner and a four-time Silver Slugger Award winner, which is a testament to his versatility in both departments of the game. The four-time All-Star is having yet another formidable season with the Mets, as he has a .279 batting average, with nine home runs, 28 RBIs, and an .810 OPS in 47 games played so far this season.
He is projecting healthy numbers on the offense this season as the internal underdogs of baseball attempt to claim that elusive NL pennant in 2025. They are currently 29-19 for the season, acquiring the second spot in the NL East standings. The Mets have opened up a three-game series against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park on Monday.
