Firefighters, faced with fire in abandoned pool, say new headquarters adds efficiency

LongMont, COLO. (KDVR) – Firefighters say with Mountain View Fire Rescue that the last step to a new headquarters makes their work more efficient – as is evident in an accident involved on a deserted group on Monday.

In late June, Mountain View held a major official opening at a facility in Newout. The department spokesman says the building is 38,000 square feet, compared to only 12,000 square feet for the old building.

The entire building comes with an EMS training space, an Academy training, and even offices to get the Buldeer County Sherif province.

There are no trucks or fire engines in the new headquarters, but there is a room for mobile data stations, which are mainly computers that feed the information to launch trucks and fire engines.

Even the new address is a more central location to be able to reach emergency situations quickly, which was seen with herb fire that the owner of a house in a deserted pool west NIWOT.

Firefighters at Mountain View Fire Rescue are grateful because Monday’s plan is in place, or its fruits without homes or lost life.
