Fire officials urge preparedness as peak wildfire season approaches

Mel Valley, California (Crohn) – while heading to the warm weather, firefighters want to take out the message now about preparing for breakthroughs. It is already familiar with many North Bay residents.

Richard Cole, a resident of Mel Valley, knows the training about the creation of an enforceable space around his home to make it more resistant to fire. This is exactly what the firefighters urge the state level to do.

“You know the space of safety and the space of fire, you know this kind of things,” said Cole. “As home owner, you just have to do this safety space and care for business and it does not seem to be a great routine.”

Will Powers said with the Santa Rosa fire extinguishing department that the administration usually puts this message to society because it is increasing in the peak season.

“In your property, go there, start measuring and size what you may have to do in your property and start making these menus, if you need to part, if you have returned, clean your guests, and things of this type,” said Powers.

“Open these bags, check if you have any expired food there, check the batteries, make sure that the light bulbs are working, and make sure only re -renovating these bags.”

In February, the state’s fire fire released new maps after the disastrous California storm. Many cities are in the Gulf region in high severity areas.

“In California, we burn the year, but it is always better to update if something you did not think recently,” said Powers.
