“They have noticed heavy smoke from the back of the building and when entering the building itself, they noticed a fire coming from multiple floors, and the first and second floor,” said Lieutenant Mariano Elias of SFFD.

The fire did not spread to the nearby buildings, and the teams contained fire within an hour. The cause and origin of the fire has not yet been determined.

“Sometimes it is very difficult to do it already because all the products at home are burned, so it takes a little deciphering the place where the fire started,” says Lieutenant Elias. “So they talk to the witnesses. They look at videos, and security cameras in the area to try to help determine the cause.”
