(Kron)-A woman who died in detention was identified at the Maple Street Reform Center in Redwood on Tuesday as Marisha Monic Rene, 31 years old.
Blong died on September 29 due to an overdose of the suspected fentanel, the San Matteo County Office said. The investigators decided that another prisoner brought fentianil to the prison that was finally killed, and announced her death.
The suspect in the murder was identified as Ashley C. 34 -year -old Gromeniki. Investigators believe that they smuggled drugs, and they supplied medications to Blount.
Gromeneci has already been arrested for drug and theft crimes. It will remain at the detention while the provincial lawyer office reviews the case before the charges were brought.
“We feel deep sadness from this tragic accident. Our thoughts and prayers with the Maricha family and their loved ones during this unimaginable time. Ventanil is a very dangerous drug. Even the smallest amount can be fatal,” said Sharif Christina Corpos.
Over the past few days, deputies have performed several prison surveying operations to check any remaining medications. On October 1, deputies intercepted the drugs before entering the safe part of the reformist facility.
The San Matteo Provincial Office, the Criminal Investigative Judge, will determine the official cause of Bulont’s death.
