Félix Auger-Aliassime’s fiancée, Nina Ghaibi, recently reacted to him reaching the semifinals at the 2025 US Open. This marks his second appearance in the final four of this Grand Slam tournament, having previously achieved this feat in 2021.
In the lead-up to the New York Major, Auger-Aliassime competed at the 2025 Canadian Open and the Cincinnati Open. He lost in the second round in Toronto to Fábián Marozsán and reached the quarterfinals in Ohio before being defeated by eventual runner-up Jannik Sinner.

Auger-Aliassime and Ghaibi have been together for over six years. They began dating in March 2019 and got engaged in November 2024.
Félix Auger-Aliassime Will Face Jannik Sinner at the 2025 US Open SF
Following his victory over De Minaur in the quarterfinals of the 2025 US Open, Auger-Aliassime is set to face the defending champion, Sinner, in the semifinals of the tournament.
Sinner won the New York Major title in 2024 by defeating Taylor Fritz in the final. This year, he began his title defense by beating Vít Kopřiva with a scoreline of 6-1, 6-1, 6-2 in the first round. He then overcame Alexei Popyrin in the second round with a 6-3, 6-2, 6-2 score.
The World No. 1 triumphed over 27th seed Denis Shapovalov 5-7, 6-4, 6-3, 6-3 and then eliminated 23rd seed Alexander Bublik 6-1, 6-1, 6-1 in the third and fourth rounds, respectively. He secured his place in the semifinals against Auger-Aliassime by defeating his compatriot, 10th seed Lorenzo Musetti, 6-1, 6-4, 6-2 in the quarterfinals.
Auger-Aliassime and Sinner have played each other three times on the ATP Tour, with the Canadian winning two of those matches. Their most recent encounter was in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Cincinnati Masters, which Sinner won 6-0, 6-2. Sinner then advanced to the final, finishing as the runner-up to Carlos Alcaraz.
