Denver (KDVR) – Jeffco Public Schools announced how students at Evergreen High School return to school after the shooting last week.
In an email on Friday from Skyler Artes, the principal at Evergreen High School said to families and employees that students and employees can return on September 25-26 and participate in a custom “half-day”.
“Students will be able to choose from the most comfortable activity options. Lunch and buses will be provided.”
The high school was temporarily closed after the shooting on September 10, when a student opened fire on campus, leaving two other students with critical injuries and killing himself.
Email also included the conditions of the secondary school building after the shooting, which said that the Jefferson Provincial Facilities team had gone to restore and repair the school.
