Bouchard To Return to Playing Tennis This Year at Hall of Fame Open 2025

Last month, the Hall of Fame Open awarded Bouchard a wildcard entry into the main draw. This year, the tournament has expanded to include a women’s WTA 125 series event in addition to the ATP Challenger 125 series.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from July 6, 2025, to July 13, 2025. It will be held during the second week of the Wimbledon Championships in order to attract players who were eliminated in the first week of the Grand Slam.

Bouchard, who has also been active in professional pickleball tournaments, stated that while pickleball is her priority, she intends to fit tennis events into her schedule.

“I’m going to put tennis tournaments in where I can fit them in my schedule. Tennis is what I love and what I still want to keep doing. The pickleball schedule is the priority, but I do want to insert those tennis tournaments,” Bouchard told the Times in an interview in 2024.

The former World No. 5 expressed that she wants to achieve as much as possible in tennis, even though she is not pursuing the sport full-time. She mentioned that she loves tennis and does not want to give it up.

“I want to achieve whatever I can. I’m not doing a full-time tennis schedule, so of course I need to understand that there will be limitations. I think I want to do as well as I can in each individual tournament and see where that goes. But I love tennis and it’s not something I want to give up yet at all,” she added.

Besides the 2025 Hall of Fame Open, Bouchard will also make her tournament debut at the fourth edition of the Luxembourg Ladies Tennis Masters, which will take place later this year, from October 9 to October 12.
