ESPN’s direct-to-consumer streaming service, enhanced app, launching August 21; ESPN joins with WWE and will stream WrestleMania

ESPN announced on Wednesday that the ESPN direct broadcast service will arrive on August 21.

The launch of ESPN DTC coincides with the beginning of football seasons in the college, the American Football Association, tennis in the United States, international football, the college of women’s college, volleyball, field hockey, and more – with the start of the WNBA qualifiers, Pl Playofs, NBA and NHL seasons, as well as UFC and WWE events around.

ESPN DTC will offer two plans, including an unlimited plan for $ 29.99 per month that allows fans access to all linear networks of ESPN, which cover 47,000 direct event each year, studio shows, studio shows, original and more programming.

The chances of assembling the ESPN Unlimited plan with Disney+ and Hulu include a bid at launch for $ 29.99 per month for 12 months.

All unlimited ESPN subscribers – either through ESPN DTC or a traditional paid TV – will get direct and elected access to all the leading studio offers in ESPN as well as a strong library and its call to the demand that includes 30 films, ESPN, and more.

The improved ESPN app will include updated options, integrated game statistics, betting information, fictional sports and trade.

ESPN joins WWE; For Wrestlemania, starting in 2026

Wrestlemania will be part of the ESPN direct broadcasting service starting in 2026 thanks to an agreement between World Wrestling Entertainment and ESPN.

The deal, which was also announced on Wednesday, includes two nights such as Wrestlemania and Summerslam, as well as other WWE Premium Live events including Royal Rumble, Survivor Series and Money in the Bank. WWE will produce ESPN platforms, which will act as her exclusive American local home.

“WWE has a huge, dedicated and emotional base and we are excited about the super -service on the new ESPN DTC platform,” said Jimmy Betaro, ESPN president. “This agreement, which is characterized by the most important WWE events per year, enhances our unprecedented content portfolio and helps to push our flowing future.”

It also included an ESPN opportunity to stream the WWE offers before and after the event for all excellent direct events.

This announcement comes a day after Espn, a subsidiary of Walt Disney, announced on Tuesday that it will officially obtain the National Football League (NFL) in a historic agreement.

The deal – which gives the US Football Association a 10 % share of stocks in ESPN – the written channel Redzone from the American Football Association and NFL Fantasy.
