Erik Minindiz, who was convicted with his brother Lille, was convicted of killing their parents, from the conditional release on Thursday, a day after the 36th anniversary of their murders.
The hearing, which lasted for approximately 10 hours, was held behind closed doors in California Prison with some media, and ended with a three-year denial-the minimum period was taken under the criteria of conditional release.
Officials said Mindez, 53, reserves the right to seek a previous hearing.
The committee, led by Commissioner Robert Barton, was martyred with serious violations of judgment while imprisoning, including the use of illegal cell phone and participation in the tax fraud plan, as major factors in their decision.
“Certainly we did not give this issue a short honest,” Barton said. “Maybe we have spent four times more than we do on the usual average here.”
Although Barton confessed to the support and work of the Mindez family in rehabilitation programs, he wondered whether these efforts were undermined by continuous misconduct.
“Your institutional mismanagement has shown self -awareness,” Barton said, noting that MINIDES believes that the rules did not apply to it, especially the behavior of the cell phone, which the Commissioner described as “selfish.”
Barton pointed to the contrast between the leadership of Mindez in the rehabilitation groups and its ongoing violations, adding that his chances of conditional release may have been improved if it was not guilty of misconduct during the past decade.
“Contrary to the beliefs of your supporters, you were not a typical prisoner and frankly, we find it a little annoying,” said Barton. “This is the ability to show one face, but be something else, we care.”
Conditional Deputy Commissioner of Conditional Revolution, Rachel Stern Fears, adding that “sometimes bad cover -up is like crime”, referring to Mindez’s attempts to circumvent the rules by making others hold on it.
Erik and Layl spent nearly 35 years in prison for killing their fathers, Jose and Kitty Mindez, in one of the most prominent American crime cases in the twentieth century.
On August 20, 1989, the brothers were brutally killed by their parents with a gun inside Beverly Hills.
In the months that followed, the brothers went during the luxurious shopping periods, and spent hundreds of thousands on cars, hours,Sporting eventsRestaurants and international and local trips. Until I bought the New Jersey Restaurant.

They were finally arrested in March 1990 after Eric confessed to his treatment of killings.
Although their guilt was not a question since their convictions, the brothers have long confirmed that they were victims of sexual assault at the hands of their father, the allegations that were not allowed to be submitted during the trial that eventually led to their condemnation.
Despite the recognition of the shock that Mindez suffered, Barton stressed that he was not in imminent danger at the time of murders. He said, “You could leave you legally.”
During Thursday’s session, Barton was weighing the violent past of Mindez, and interrogated the violent nature of the killing of “the death of” Kitti, which he described as “free of human sympathy”, especially as it was a victim of domestic violence at the hands of their father.
“The killing of your mother in particular showed the lack of sympathy and mind,” Barton said. “I can’t put myself in your place. I don’t know that I have ever been angry to this level, at all.”
Barton admitted the support received by the Mindez brothers in the years that followed their condemnation, and said that he “acquires an insightful look at the shock and” despair “that the brothers felt at that time.
“This is a tragic issue,” Barton said. “I agree that not only two, but four people, lost in this family.”
The session concluded at 6:42 pm, Eric Menendes clearly listened.
Lael, the older brother of Eric, will receive a conditional release session on Friday.
