Blazanton, California (Crohn– It is the end of an era.
The horse racing course was officially closed in the Alamida provincial exhibitions. Tuesday was the last full day for horsemen there. Tim Bilson was horse training throughout his life. Most of that time spent the land of the Alamida Province Exhibitions.
“As I said, I live here … I lived here for 35 years, and I am not happy.”
But Tuesday was his last day at the place of preparing a meal and training two of the race.
The exhibition grounds decided earlier this year to close racing operations, noting financial and organizational issues. Bilchen says the exhibition ground has never invested in horse race.
“They decided to ride the cheapest races there for these horses, and the reason is that the whole thing is related to money; horse race is based on gambling,” Bilson said. “Basically, people who move in northern California remain that money in northern California; people who are betting on southern California, this money remains in southern California.”
Bilson says he and his colleagues have been given less than 30 days to evacuate property. He says families are separate from this decision.
Miguel should also leave the exhibition grounds. He leaves his three adult children to move with his boss to Los Olitus in Orange County.
Miguel said: “I do not take it. I have to go with my manager. I ask him when you retire, I retire too,” Miguel said.
Miguel works as a Foreman man on the exhibition grounds and takes care of horses there for more than 40 years.
The end of the horse racing here is followed on the land of the Alamida Province Exhibitions, the closure of the golden gate fields in Berkeley. All coaches will be asked to leave the property by the end of Friday.
