Emma Raducanu will be debuting a new look going into the 2026 tennis season. She recently flaunted her new hairstyle at a salon while holding a bouquet of flowers.
Raducanu most recently concluded her 2025 tennis season after competing at the Ningbo Open, where she lost in the first round to wild card Zhu Lin.

Following the conclusion of her tennis season, Raducanu was scheduled to take part in two exhibition events, one in Miami and the other in Newark, in December 2025. However, she withdrew from both events due to light bone bruising in her right foot. Since then, she has taken time off from tennis to recover and recuperate.
Recently, London-based Italian hairstylist Nicola Noviello took to social media and shared a couple of pictures and a video of the former World No. 10 with her new hairstyle, looking visibly happy.
Reacting to her new hairstyle, Raducanu praised Noviello as the “best” for giving her such a chic look.
“You’re the best best 🤍🤍,” Raducanu commented.
During the 2025 season, Raducanu’s best result was reaching the semifinals at the Citi DC Open. She also advanced to the quarterfinals at the Miami Open and the Queen’s Club Championships.
Emma Raducanu’s First Tournament of the 2026 Season Will Be United Cup
Raducanu is set to kick off her 2026 season by representing Great Britain at the United Cup. This year, Team Great Britain lost 0-3 in the quarterfinals to eventual runner-ups Team Poland. In 2026, matches of the mixed-gender team tournament will take place at the RAC Arena in Perth and the Ken Rosewall Arena in Sydney.
Team Great Britain has been placed in Group E, alongside Team Japan and Team Greece, with their matches scheduled to be held in Perth. The British team will consist of three male players and three female players: Raducanu, Jack Draper, Lloyd Glasspool, Billy Harris, Mimi Xu, and Olivia Nicholls.
“I’m honored to be able to make my United Cup debut in January. Being able to play for Team GB with my teammates is a unique opportunity and a week to enjoy. It’s great to experience a new format on tour, represent my country and spend a couple of extra weeks in Australia,” Raducanu said.
Other countries competing at the United Cup are Team Italy, France, Switzerland, the defending champions, the United States, Spain, Argentina, Canada, Belgium, China, the host nation, Australia, Norway, the Czech Republic, former champions Germany, and Poland.
During the group matches at the 2026 United Cup, Raducanu may face Team Japan’s Naomi Osaka and Team Greece’s Maria Sakkari in singles matches. Raducanu and Osaka have met only once on the WTA Tour, during the second round of the 2025 Citi DC Open, where the Brit won with a scoreline of 6-4, 6-2.
Meanwhile, Raducanu and Sakkari have faced each other four times on the WTA Tour, with the former US Open champion winning all four encounters. Their most recent match-up took place in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Citi DC Open, where Raducanu secured a victory with a scoreline of 6-4, 7-5.
