Denver (KDVR) – In the wake of the last golf vehicle that included the legend of Broncos John Elway, medical professionals state that popular cars can pose serious risks if they are not used properly.
Although golf vehicles are commonly seen in neighborhoods, resort lands, and even on some local roads, experts say they often treat games more than games – something that can lead to severe consequences.
“They can be head injuries, broken bones, and broken limbs, changed life,” said Kerry Wink, a nurse and nurse on the HCA Healtene Mountain Ridge.
Wink said that low -speed falls from golf vehicles or other entertainment compounds could lead to serious concurms and injuries.
Wink said: “The head injuries from the entertainment vehicles, such as a golf cart or motorbike, see the city center all the time. It takes only a second, and it is when you do not expect it, and perhaps when you do not pay the most attention or to be as safe as possible – and it can change life.”
It recommends treating golf vehicles like any other vehicle.
She said: “Golf vehicles are similar to any automatic vehicle.
Wink said that the most important advice is to stay alert.
She said: “Golf vehicles, motorcycles – while we think they are safe, they are safe when using them in the right way. So be aware of your surroundings, and those around you, making sure that you do not endanger anyone.”
In many regions, only golf vehicles are allowed on roads with a speed of 35 miles per hour or less. Experts recommend checking your local municipality before driving on public roads.
