Elderly resident dead, another hurt after impaired driver slams into Downey home 

Police says an elderly woman died and another person was injured after a weak driver in a house in Downey was committed at night.

The Downey Police Administration submitted a press statement before 7 am on Saturday, stating that the officers were called to the 9500 Bloc from the Galatin Road at about 2:20 am after reporting a traffic collision.

The first respondents rushed to the area to find almost entirely involved in the house. The death of a 73 -year -old woman was announced at home.

Another person, a 24 -year -old woman, was taken to the hospital. Her condition has not been detected by the authorities.

Neighbors, Jennifer McGaru, told KTLA 5 on Saturday morning that the car ended in two separate rooms after the accident.

The initial investigation of the officers revealed that a 24 -year -old man was leading to the east on Galatin when he collided with a residence. He was not infected.

It was later turned out that the man – whose name was unleashed – was under the effect when the accident occurred.

Downey police said he was detained by the only identity document.
