Eight arrested in San Francisco drug bust

(Kron)-Eight suspected drug dealers were arrested and almost a two-day drug pounds were seized during a two-day drug statue in San Francisco this week, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

On July 9 and 10, officers at the San Francisco Police Market Agency and the SFPD drug unit tracked and arrested drug traffickers inside the city.

SFPD said: “The officers noticed this trade in drugs in multiple areas suspected of drug trafficking and have developed a possible reason to arrest the suspects on charges of felony,” SFPD said.

During the task, the officers seized a hexagon and various types of medications, including methamphetamine, cocaine crack, heroin, LSD and fentanel. Some of the charges against the suspect include possession and sale of the meth, possession of drugs while arming them, carrying a pistol loaded in public places, carrying a hidden pistol, possession of a large journal and resistance to arrest.

SFPD said: “SFPD will continue to give priority for the efforts of the drug crisis in our city by removing dangerous and deadly drugs from our streets, arresting the suspects and holding accountable individuals who sell illegal drugs.”

The arrests remain under investigation.
