A couple fell about 500 feet below the Canyon Road in the National Forest of Angeles over Selmar late on Tuesday night, leaving the driver and his passenger.
The accident was reported before midnight immediately after the car was interested in the hill near the Kagel Truck Trail and the Tujunga Canyon Little.
The driver said that he lost traction while driving along a curve and went over the side.
“Somehow I am alive,” said Christian Hernandez. “I had to climb the hill … and I am here, thank God.”
His passenger, which was set by the independent media company KNN News as a pregnant woman in her thirties, was besieged inside the car and needed help.
Hernandez said that it took about 30 minutes to crawl up to the top of the hill, where he waved with someone.
Hernandez said: “After that it took the last 30 or 40 minutes until the police appeared and the ambulance sought, because there is no sign here,” Hernandez said.
The video showed a rescue team walking in the car, where the woman was loaded on Jerney and raised on the side of the hill. The unknown woman was then transferred by a helicopter to a local hospital in an unknown condition.
She was conscious and breathed during the rescue, KNN reported. Hernandez was slightly injured and captured at the scene by family members.
