The 2025 college football season started strong for No. 2 Penn State quarterback Drew Allar. In Week 1, he led the Nittany Lions to a 46-11 win over Nevada, throwing for over 200 yards and one touchdown.
Allar’s success extends off the field, as well. He recently signed an NIL deal with a brand valued at over $2 billion. Following the announcement, Allar’s girlfriend shared a heartfelt message for him as the couple celebrated a special occasion.
Drew Allar’s Girlfriend Shares Heartfelt Message Following $2.2B NIL Deal
Drew Allar is the face of Penn State football, and due to his on-field success, he has had plenty of opportunities to make money from his name, image, and likeness. One of those opportunities came with a recent brand deal with American Eagle, a company valued at $2.2 billion.
American Eagle has signed multiple college and high school athletes to NIL deals, including Anna Frey, a North Carolina tennis commit; Kiyan Anthony, a Syracuse basketball player; Azzi Fudd, a UConn basketball player; Jeremiah Smith, an Ohio State receiver; Sunisa Lee, a former Auburn gymnast and U.S. Olympian; and finally, Allar.
It’s a big deal for Allar, and one that he’s earned from his success as Penn State’s quarterback. The American Eagle brand deal wasn’t the only recent cause for celebration, as he also marked his six-year anniversary with his longtime girlfriend, Emma Bush, on Tuesday.
Bush took to Instagram to share a heartfelt anniversary message with the Nittany Lions quarterback following his brand deal. She posted two Instagram stories, the first of which read, “6 years of you and me I love you more everyday.”
The second one she posted read, “Thank you for being the best man I could ever ask for, here is to many more years to come!”
Allar and Bush have been dating since his sophomore year at Medina High School in Medina, Ohio. He was a high school standout, ranked by 247Sports as the No. 1 quarterback in the 2022 class.
He committed to Penn State in 2021 and enrolled in 2022, becoming the Nittany Lions’ starter during his sophomore season in 2023. Now in his senior year, he aims to build off his 2024 success, where he threw for 3,327 yards and 24 touchdowns while leading Penn State to the College Football Playoff Semifinal.

With all of his on-field success, it’s clear Allar is finding equal success off the field with his new NIL deal with American Eagle and his long, successful relationship with Bush.
