Officials announced that the earthen bike contestant had to be transferred to safety after being injured in a remote area of the Saint Bernardino National Forest on Monday.
The rescue, according to a journalist in the fire extinguishing department in San Bernardino Province, was published to X, before 11:30 am not far from Silverwood Lake.
The officials said: “Since the accident occurred in such a very remote area, the decision has been taken to benefit from a helicopter with the capabilities of lifting to remove the contestant safely,” the officials said.
Details about the actual accident limited, and it is not clear that the accident was exactly, but the officials said that the man suffered a moderate leg injury that was serious enough to prove the rescue process.
Footage of the SBCFD accident, which was helped by the first respondents in the Saint Bernardino National Forest, show the helicopter landing on a paved mountain road after withdrawing the injured contestant.
The man was removed from the helicopter on Gurney and a wheel to an ambulance to wait for a local shock center.
This rescue comes just one day after a motorcycle driver decreased in the CAJON corridor about 100 feet on the side of the hill and should be saved by SBCFD sets. In this case, the shots showed the first respondents using a rope rescue system to withdraw the affected contestant because the strong winds and the near power line prevented a helicopter.
Fire officials said: “Remember the San Bernardino Province area to protect the rough roads on riding with a friend, wearing full protective equipment, and carried a charged phone and knowing your site,” said firefighters.
