SAN FRANCISCO (KRONA) – 12,000 runners – including Mayor Daniel Lurie – joined Diplo’s Run Club in San Francisco on Saturday.
The three-time Grammy Award-winning DJ hosted and participated in a 5K run before performing a live DJ set for participants.
The event was held at Robin Williams Meadow in Golden Gate Park and made its Bay Area debut last year along the Embarcadero.
Diplo later posted, “SF I love you ❤️” On social media.
According to a video shared by the DJ, October 11 has officially become “Diplo Day” in San Francisco.
Diplo’s Run Club is described as a “nationwide 5K and festival series that blends fitness, music and community in a first-of-its-kind experience,” according to a press release.

The fitness and music event has now expanded to eight US cities for 2025 and 2026.
