Albert County, Colorado (KDVR)-outside the hospital on Tuesday night with a broken rib, a frustrating arm, a group of scratches and an unforgettable story for her novel, David Martinez calculates his blessings.
“I don’t know, I didn’t expect it. I didn’t see it. I didn’t see it coming. The next thing I know, I’m at the head of a car,” Martinez, 49, told Fox31.
This happened on Tuesday afternoon on the Delert Road near County Road 178 on the Douglas-Elbert province. Martinez and his workshop concluded work on the construction site and went to Home Depot for more materials.
Investigators say his car was hit from the back, preceded 180 degrees, and came to rest over the truck in front of him.
“She rains very much,” Martinez said. “The lady who was behind him said that he flew around her and did not run out of the brakes or nothing, just a plow in me.”
Once the confusion is cleared, they took some images from an unforgettable crash. Martinez said it took a few minutes to realize the risky situation in which the SUV ended. He will have time to think about the accident now. Doctors told him that he would need four to six weeks to recover from collision.
“I am happy that I was moving away, man. I, as you know, I’m happy because I am here.”
Ellbert County officials say that the Beck App driver went to the hospital with unknown injuries, and they are quickly investigating as a worker in the accident.
