Deputies shoot less lethal rounds, detain man with rifle threatening woman in Walnut Park

The large law enforcement of the Wallet Park revealed when the authorities confirmed that he was a gunman threatening a woman on Saturday morning.

According to the Los Angeles Province Department, the deputies were called at about 7:40 am for an armed suspect with a gun in a residential neighborhood.

Lasd said that a woman was walking her dog on the sidewalk when she directed the suspect who did not know her, the gun and asked her to leave. Uninterrupted reports indicate that the suspect also referred to the gun in the neighbors and fired several rounds before the law enforcement arrived, but the authorities did not include this information in their initial report.

Footage of the scene showed a plane in the air above and tied at least eight LASD units along 3000 blocks of Hill Street, with deputies around the residence corridor.

It was not immediately clear whether the suspect lived at home, but an officer can be heard on the loudspeakers, as he directed the suspect out of the area, saying: “He went out, this is the final warning.”

The KTLA crew reported watching a scene of an investigation held in the area at about 9:30 am, with a caution from the street around the house.

The authorities later confirmed that the officers launched less deadly rounds of the suspect in order to bring him to the reservation, and the paramedics transferred him to a local evaluation hospital.

No victims were injured, according to LASD, and the accident is still under investigation.
